4 years ago today I became a mother. My son Martim was born and what a joy it was for us, just a week before Christmas. The best Christmans present ever! As you can see I look huge, I gained 22kgs with the pregnancy, I was hungry all the time and ate all I wanted. My doctor was mad as hell with me loooool A friend of ours was a journalist and worked for Correio da Manhã and the magazine needed another couple to complete that Sunday issue. Martim was born the Wednesday before and some journalists came to the hosptital and took some photos and an interview and we made the cover of the magazine. I'm sure Martim will appreciate this in the future. Just wanted to share with you this day so special to me. Hope you like it!

Faz hoje 4 anos que fui mãe. O meu filho Martim nasceu e que alegria foi para todos, uma semana antes do Natal. O melhor presente de sempre! Como podem ver eu estava enorme, engordei 22 kgs com a gravidez, estava sempre com fome e comi tudo o que me apeteceu. O meu médico passou-se comigo loooool Um amigo nosso que era jornalista no Correio da Manhã soube que precisavam de mais um casal para a reportagem desse Domingo. O Martim nasceu na 4ª feira antes e uns jornalistas foram ao hospital e tiraram fotos e demos uma entrevista e saímos na capa. Uma recordação para o Martim que daqui a uns anos vai achar muito giro, aposto. Queria partilhar com todos este dia, para mim tão especial. Espero que gostem!

Last week, I got to know Affaire Jewellery and was instantly blown away by this portuguese brand. It stood out for its uniqueness and attention to detail. Truly works of art by the hands of creative designers and gifted craftsmen. I specially love the Colour Clash collection for its modern and vibrant touch and the Royal Cobalt collection, that shade of blue is quite stunning and sophisticated. I have to say this brand is like a breath of fresh air in the world of jewellery design and being portuguese I had to share it with you and wish the best of success.
