Last Sunday, the day started early at the event Body and Soul Women organized by Terra Alternativa. Like last year I went as a volunteer to help the organization and had the chance to try some of the therapies and workshops that took place. It was a fantastic day.

Domingo passado, o dia começou cedo no evento Mulheres de Corpo e Alma organizado pela Terra Alternativa. Como no ano passado fui como voluntária para ajudar na organização e tive a oportunidade de experimentar algumas das terapias e workshops disponíveis. 

Foi um dia fantástico.

Last but not least a relaxing massage at Nipon Spa Japonês with therapist Armando. A big thank you, I slept like an angel that night.

Faro : A Stroll In the City

Hi girls? How's your weekend? Hope you had the chance to relax :)

I wore this in Faro, for a walk in the city. Nothing is more comfortable 

for me than some shorts and some nice sandals.

Olá meninas? Como está a ser o fds? Espero que estejam a conseguir relaxar :)

Este foi o look que usei no meu último dia em Faro, para um passeio pela cidade. Nada é mais confortável para mim que uns calções e umas boas sandálias.

For lunch I had to try this local vegetarian restaurant called Ginger and Cinnamon and loved it. The food is fresh and home made and the deserts to die for. Highly recommended.

Ao almoço fiquei a conhecer o restaurante vegetariano Gengibre e Canela e adorei. A comida é fresquinha e caseira e as sobremesas de babar. Recomendo.

Brazilian bean stew, without meat, of course. Pumpkin and zuchini ratatouille. Because the restaurant is buffet I got to choose two salads. One with coriander sauce and the other with mint sauce. The juice was absolutely delicious, apple, carrot and lemon. All was delicious.

Feijoadinha à brasileira, sem carne, claro. Com um ratatouille de abóbora e courgette. Como o restaurante tem serviço de buffet escolhi duas saladas. Uma com molho de coentros e a outra com molho de hortelã. O sumo estava delicioso, maçã, cenoura e limão. Tudo uma delícia, meninas.

What can I say of this desert? Chocolat with white cream and berries. Divine!

E que dizer desta sobremesa? Chocolate com creme branco e frutos vermelhos. Divinal!

Faro Shopping Tip : António Manuel Store

Feels like Summer

Yesterday, the weather went mad hot and no way we could sightsee in the heat. The beach was the best option, even tough I couldn't bathe (raging sigh) due to my foot. We went to my favorite beach at Faro Island. It brought back such happy memories of holidays spent with my family and friends. 

A balm to my soul.

Ontem, o tempo enlouqueceu de quente e estava impossível andar a passear com o calor. A praia foi a melhor opção, mesmo não podendo ir ao banho (suspiro enfurecido) graças ao meu pézinho. Fomos à minha praia preferida na Ilha de Faro. Trouxe-me tantas memórias felizes das férias que passei aqui com a minha família e amigos. Lavou-me a alma.

The food was delicious, by the hand of chef Alberto Carvalho, combining new flavors with typical Algarve products.

My choice : Spaghetti "Nero di Sepia" with prawns

Going South

Hi girls! I'm in the Algarve since yesterday, in Faro the capital of the south of Portugal and where I spent my childhood holidays. I love it here. This is what I wore for travelling, the weather was a bit rainy when we left.

Olá meninas! Estou desde ontem no Algarve, em Faro, na capital do sul de Portugal e onde passei as minhas férias em criança. Adoro estar aqui. Isto foi o que usei na viagem, o tempo estava um bocado chuvoso.

I stayed at Hotel Faro, a very nice Hotel in the centre, on which terrace I took these photos. The view is amazing. Tomorrow I'll post more photos of the rest of the trip.

Fiquei no Hotel Faro, um Hotel muito simpático mesmo no centro, e foi no terraço que tirei estas fotos. A vista é fantástica.

 Amanhã coloco mais fotos do resto da viagem.
