A tour of the island would not be completed without a visit to the San Antonio de Portmany area, one of the main cities on the island. There's only one highway on the island, from Ibiza to San Antonio, and it's where all the main discos are located. This area has some of the best beaches of the island: Cala Bassa, Cala Conta, Cala Tarida. We went to Cala Conta, as I was told to be the most beautiful. I was blown away by this beach, it's just stunning, too bad we went on a Sunday because by midday it was already packed with people and we had to leave, it's a really small beach. For me it was one of the best spots of Ibiza.
Uma volta à ilha não ficaria completa sem uma visita à zona de San Antonio de Portmany, uma das cidades principais da ilha. Só existe uma auto-estrada na ilha que liga Ibiza a San Antonio onde ficam algumas das discotecas mais famosas. Esta zona tem algumas das praias mais bonitas: Cala Bassa, Cala Conta, Cala Tarida. Fomos a Cala Conta porque me disseram que era a mais bonita. Fiquei de queixo caído com esta praia, é simplesmente linda, pena termos ido num Domingo porque ao meio dia estava a abarrotar de gente porque a praia é mesmo muito pequena. Para mim foi dos melhores locais de Ibiza.

San Antonio is also home to the famous Café del Mar. Unfortunately we couldn't stay and watch the sunset which is known to be the best on the island. The bar was just opening when we arrived and was in fact empty when I took some photos. The bar's decor is amazing and looks not a day old, prices are high and they only serve drinks. There's another bar next to it called Mambo which is also nice and they do serve food.
San Antonio é onde fica o famoso Café del Mar. Infelizmente não podemos ficar para assistir ao pôr do sol que é conhecido por ser o melhor da ilha. O bar tinha acabado de abrir quando chegamos e estava vazio quando tirei as fotos. A decoração é incrível e parece acabado de inaugurar, os preços são altos e só servem bebidas. Há um outro bar ao lado chamado Mambo que também é muito giro e servem comida.
This was a holiday destination I wish to return to. There's a lot more to see of this lovely island.
Este é um destino de férias a que quero voltar. Há muito mais para ver desta ilha maravilhosa.
